These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website www.ims4maths.com, and your enrolment in any course, test series, or study material offered by IMS – Institute of Mathematical Sciences (“IMS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 25/8 Old Rajendra Nagar Market, New Delhi-110060, for UPSC Civil Services Examination (IAS/IFoS) coaching with Mathematics Optional.
By accessing this Website, submitting an admission or enquiry form, or enrolling in any of our courses, you (“you,” “student,” or “user”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Website or enrol in our courses.
1. About IMS
IMS is a coaching institute that provides classroom and live online coaching, test series, and study material for the Mathematics Optional subject of the UPSC Civil Services (IAS) and Indian Forest Service (IFoS) examinations, under the guidance of K. Venkanna Sir.
2. Use of the Website
By using this Website, you agree that you will:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when filling any form on the Website, including the admission or enquiry form

3. Admission and Enrolment
- Admission to any course, batch, or test series is subject to availability of seats and is granted on a first-come-first-served basis, as described on our Admission Procedure page
- Submitting the online or offline admission form does not guarantee a seat; admission is confirmed only upon acceptance by IMS and receipt of the applicable fee
- You are responsible for providing accurate personal, academic, and contact details in your admission form. IMS is not responsible for any communication failure arising from incorrect details provided by you
- IMS reserves the right to refuse or cancel admission at its discretion, including in cases of incomplete documentation, incorrect information, or unavailability of seats
4. Fees and Payment
- Course, test series, and study material fees are as displayed on the Website or communicated to you at the time of admission, and are subject to change without prior notice for future batches
- Fees may be paid by Cash, Demand Draft (DD), Cheque, or direct bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS) to our official bank account, as detailed on our Admission Procedure page
- Any balance fee amount must be paid within the timeline communicated to you (generally at least three days before the commencement of classes), failing which your seat may be allotted to another candidate
- It is your responsibility to retain payment receipts, transaction references, or deposit slips as proof of payment for any future reference or dispute resolution
5. Refunds and Cancellations
Requests for refund or cancellation of admission, once fees have been paid, are subject to the specific refund policy communicated to you at the time of admission, which may vary by course, batch, or mode of study (offline/live online). As a general practice, processing fees, registration fees, and amounts already utilised towards study material or classes conducted may not be refundable. We encourage you to confirm the applicable refund and cancellation terms in writing with our office before making payment. In case of any dispute, the refund policy communicated in writing by IMS at the time of your admission shall prevail over this general clause.
6. Classes, Test Series, and Study Material
- Class schedules, batch timings, and test series dates published on the Website are indicative and may be changed by IMS due to operational, faculty-related, or unforeseen circumstances, with reasonable prior notice where possible
- Study material, notes, and video content provided as part of any course are meant solely for the personal use of the enrolled student and must not be copied, photographed, screen-recorded, shared, resold, or uploaded to any other platform
- Access to live online classes, recorded sessions, or the student login portal is personal to the enrolled student and must not be shared with any other individual
7. No Guarantee of Results
While IMS strives to provide high-quality guidance, study material, and mentorship for the UPSC Mathematics Optional subject, we do not guarantee any specific rank, marks, selection, or outcome in the UPSC Civil Services Examination or any other examination. Success in a competitive examination depends on multiple factors including the candidate's own effort, aptitude, and preparation across all subjects, which are beyond our control.
8. Testimonials and Success Stories
Testimonials, success stories, results, and video statements (including our “Toppers Talk” series) published on the Website or our social media/YouTube channels reflect the individual experiences of the students concerned and are shared with their consent. Individual results may vary, and no testimonial should be construed as a guarantee or promise of similar results for any other student.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, the IMS name and mark, study material, question papers, sample solutions, and video content, is the property of IMS or its respective content owners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and use this content for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation only. No part of this content may be reproduced, distributed, or used for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission.
10. Communication Consent
By submitting your contact details through any form on the Website or by messaging us on WhatsApp or Telegram, you consent to being contacted by IMS via phone call, SMS, email, WhatsApp, or Telegram regarding your enquiry, admission, batch updates, test series, results, and related announcements. Our total liability, if any, arising out of your enrolment in a course shall not exceed the fee actually paid by you for that specific course.
